I well remember when I had to do my accounts, it would take me days and I hated every second of it..and Bank reconciliations, well, they nearly drove me mad!! (Some say they actually DID send me mad!!) |

Nice shot of the Willow Tit, it's not often yo see these about now | The Willow Tit was a surprise there, just one lone bird. I've not seen them at that site before so it was very welcome. The Nuthatch is more evident than sparrows there! |

| | | Re: The lazy way of getting bird shots. They have just decided that we have to start working out the VAT, but only on receipts with VAT. I did this last time and then was told there is no VAT on postage? Now I just use car parks with VAT breakdown on the receipt and I wont use supermarkets that dont break it down either |

When I went to refill one of the feeders, I got within four foot of some birds before they flew away. With a bit of effort I could get them feeding from the hand I reckon. |

I used to run a sales business with mixed VAT rates, it was a nightmare getting it right. 0% on some items, a lower rate on others, all on the same invoice. That's fine when you've got good salesmen, but one guy I had working for me never got it right..and guess who had to stand the losses? not the VAT man anyway! |

Not very professional, but it worked, although I got about 20% of spoilt shots due to camera movement. 20% is low for me! |

Roger | If I'm going to do this more often, I'll have to look into some better support. Andrew's sounds interesting. What type was yours? |

Matt | Well, if you ever fancy getting some Matt, I've never failed to see them there. Treecreepers as well, although they're much harder to get as they don't visit the feeders. |
