Saw a pair of these at Pagham, today. Never seen them before.
Lovely looking bird, Great colours.
The nearest looking bird that i can find is the Black tailed Godwit, Summer plumage. |

At Belfast Harbour RSPB Reserve we're lucky enough to still have about a hundred of them resting up,along with about 50 of their Bar Tailed mates.

them would pile in at high tide in the estuary....particularly at twilight! |
