| | | Jackdaw loudspeakers Has anyone else noticed how Jackdaws use made-made objects to amplify their calls. Satellite dishes seem to be the local favourite with the bird sat on the antenna and calling into the dish, causing a loud, vibrant echo. While a couple of miles down the road Jackdaws prefer to use old style chimneys, sitting on top and calling down into the chimney. Has anyone else seen this behaviour or do you know of any other objects used or birds that behve like this? |

| | | Re: Jackdaw loudspeakers No I've not seen them do that here, they just travel around in a pack making a racket. They like to sit on my neighbours cherry tree even though it is netted and try to get at the cherries. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
