I contacted a local Wildlife Society a few months ago and informed them of the birds I had seen to date.
Well - they were very interested and paid where I live a visit - in one hour they managed to see the following Birds
Mallard
Moor Hen
Wood Pigeon
Cuckoo
Great Spotted Woodpecker
Wren
Robin
Song Thrush
Chiff Chaff
Lesser White Throat
Blue Tit
Long Tail Tit
Great Tit
Carrion Crow
Linnet
Chaffinch
Pheasant
Stock Dove
Collared Dove
Barn Owl
Sky Lark
Dunnock
BlackBird
Black Cap
White Throat
Willow Warbler
Magpie
Starling
Green Finch
Reed Bunting
I have since seen
King Fishers
House Sparrow
Kestrel
Swallow
House Martin
Swifts
Tawny Owl
Just wanted to share their finds with you - I found it fascinating - they also found lots of plants too - will post the list in another thread |

We back onto open farmland so its a little bit of both but mainly neighbourhood - I was really excited by their findings xx |
