Found an injured pigeon in our garden.

Found a injured pigeon in the garden after it collided with our window, rang the RSPCA they were not interested. In the end my brother drove to Tiggywinkles, which happens is not far from us, I carried it wrapped in a towel. They were pleased to help us. Why are the RSPCA not interested, is it because was a pigeon, which is classified as vermin by many.

probably - pigeons are both extremly common and covered by the general licence (that is they can, with good cause, be controlled by the landowner or their agents) therefore I can understand why the rspca might see them as low priority
