| | | News of an Albino Bearded Tit I regularly get a newsletter from Wildlife Extra and the news on this one was of an Albino Bearded Tit. Now that is a bit different. Take a look at it via this link. Wildlife Extra - Albino bearded tit spotted in Lancashire

| | | Re: News of an Albino Bearded Tit now that really would have stumped me if I'd seen it. A very unusual looking bird.
I didn't realise Bearded Tits were quite so rare - only 500 pairs in the UK? It's nice to see them doing well at Leighton Moss.

Few days ago saw a photo on another forum of a partial albino Goldeneye which looked a little strange too. |

Mrs Fish - have you tried the Norfolk wildlife Trust reserve at Hickling. I got some real close up views of them this summer, down to a few feet!

Neil | She shouldn't need to go that far living in Suffolk. They are fairly guaranteed at Minsmere.

I am very lucky it is right outside my front door
I have never seen a flycatcher, the reed beds have grown alot like they do so there are reed warblers and reed buntings, I'm waiting for a bittern to pop in
Sorry that link is not working, try this Ipswich Wildlife Group - The Alderman Canal Project |
