| | | Skylark?? Sorry no photos as it was a quick sighting from the car on the way home.
I could hear singing as we drove slowly over a narrow bridge, but it didn't sound the normal bird song I hear. I then spotted a bird hovering and I am certain the song was coming from it.
Its by a rail line, with nearly all fields.
how likely is it that it was a skylark

Am I right in thinking these are the only birds that sing on the wing.
