Any idea's on this one? No photo.

Can anyone help me, with this ID please.
Seen on the top of a hedge row, this morning, in Pulborough, West Sussex

Small bird, about the size of a Robin,
Brown, but almost red, wings and back. ( The bright sun light may have made it look more red than it was )
Completely white head, down to the back of the neck, and all of the chest.
Some dappled markings on the crown of the head.
Didn't think to look at it's beak, Sorry

I was parked about six feet away from it, By the time I got my camera out, it was gone.
Have looked in the RSPB and my books, but cant find anything like it.

Maybe a youngster, and not in adults colouring ?

Yes. That did cross my mind, as well whaleomeloette.
But thought I'd ask, just in case, some one knew of a bird like it.

theres is a lovely blackbird in pickerings pasture in widnes that has a little white 'cap' its very sweet- commonish too so it seems!
worth seeing what everyone else says though
