Watched this after watching so called football
Ithink it is teaching young to hunt but not sure
Kestrel came over with prey
?young came calling (high pitched call)    
Any ideas on this please

| | | Re: Is this kestrel teaching young to hunt looks like it to me as well, this is exactly what ive been watching , with the peregrines in our town, and they dont half make a racket in the process, the parents bring in food and drop it for the chicks to go for, and seem to give them a ticking off if they dont, plenty of people have come across the remains of pigeons at the bottom of the area. good photos . rossy. |

Ian | I was on the 'pit top' of the old Kiveton Pit that is now a community woodlands. Most of the old pits in this area have now become woodlands etc and hold a great variety of wildlife (most of my Gallery is from these pits). I was looking down on the birds for some of the time as they flew down the slope of the slag tip (as it was)
