Red Kite Sighted Derbyshire
I was fishing today in Glossop and was pleased to see my 1st Kite soaring over the wooded hill opposite the golf course , my brother had told me he saw 1 a few months ago over Woodhead which isn"t too far from my sighting.
A short while after I saw a Buzzard and can now clearly appreciate the size difference of the larger Kite .

Blimey, thanks for the tip off Julian. I've never seen one in Glossop, but will keep an eye out for them in future...
