| | Wren nest Is it normal for a wren to be nesting in one of my wifes hanging baskets, should I stop watering it in case I drown the baby when it hatches. When do wrens hatch ? I know wrens eat bugs, but is there anything I can put in my garden to supplement this. |

| | | Re: Wren nest I grow up in kent and the Wrens there were quite shy nesting in bushes well away from from the house. They used the bird table in the winter, but I don't remember them bothering much in the summer. Personally I wouldn't water the basket if there was any chance of soaking the babies, the birds would come first. |

| | | Re: Wren nest Birds should definitely come first, so don't water the hanging basket at all. According to my reference book incubation takes 13-18 days, and the chicks spend 15-20 days in the nest. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
