| | | Geltsdale Eagle Owl? I have been hearing alot of reports from cumbrian folk that a pair of Eagle Owls have a nest (with chicks) in the 'old water' area of the RSPB's Geltsdale Reserve. I have made lots of phonecalls but everyone 'in the know' seems very quiet and the RSPB are denying it (probably due to the recent footage of a hen harrier being killed by a eagle owl in bowland).
What i am wondering is if anyone local could shed some light as i would love to see the nest and chicks and maybe even get a cheeky picture. Any help would be apreciated.
Thanks Will |

Thanks Will | Hi Will
You may not be aware, but a first post from someone asking for information about a rare breeding bird is very suspicious. Nothing personal but I hope no-one responds with information. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
