Bird Sightings - To Share

Morning

As you can see I am new to the forum - and have recently started to try and identify and take pics of the birds I see on my daily dog walks -

Its truely amazing what Birds are near where I live - here are a few pics of some of the birds I have seen so far ....

You are having fun, Suzie. One quick suggestion: if you edit your post and enter a "Return" between each photo, or after say three, they will then line up underneath the previous ones, rather than in a long line wider than my screen!!

I'm also getting thumbnail size pics when I click on them. How big were they when you uploaded them?

My pics were huge - 1024 x 768 pixels - so I compressed them - are they too small - if so - what size do you shrink your pics too?

Hi Suziet, 1024 x 768 should be fine to post, I think thats around the usual size here.
Looks like you have plenty to see, when you are out. Where did the peacock come from?

There is an abundance of wildlife where I live - I am very fortunate to have an outlook of fields and woodland - I informed a local Natural History Society of my finds and they actually visited the site last month and found an abunadace of birds and plants.

The Peacock was in Atwick Nr Hornsea - I just had to take to a pic (not very good exposure though) as it made me laugh

I think the mods have been tidying up!

Nice shots though.

Also if you put two spaces between photo urls that separates them a fraction and makes them stand out better.
