| | | Biking Birder my friend Gary Prescott, a k a Biking Birder is doing a sponsored bike ride around the u.k. visiting every r.s.p.b. and w.w.t. reserve in the british isles raising money for astma uk, the r.s.p.b. and w.w.t. and trying to break the record yearlist for non motorised birdwatching. check out his website and blog at [URL="www.bikingbirder.co.uk" for details of his route and if anybody out there can offer any help with accomodation, rare bird sightings along his chosen route, ( currently in cumbria on 24/6/10 heading for hodbarrow r.s.p.b. ),scarce bird sites ( he is struggling for lesser spotted woodpecker, garganey, nightjar and little gull that i know to at the moment). any help will be very much appreciated by him. contact details can be found on his blog. please leave a message or send a text if no answer as he will probably be cycling.
many thanks in anticipation | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
