| | | id a bird please Can anyone identify this bird for me? Seen on the beach in Sandown Bay last weekend. My guess is some kind of pipit, but I'm useless at id-ing birds..

yes this was on the upper beach, a stone's throw from the sea, I think probably a pair, the other moving in parallel along the rocks a bit higher up,
