| | | Feeding behaviour Have there ever been reports of Great tit adults feeding young blue tits? The first time I saw this on the bird feeders I thought I was mistaken but I've seen this behaviour once or twice since. Are my eyes decieving me?! |

I have also seen a Robin feed a Great Tit fledgeling but I think it was to shut it up as it was continualy begging for food and appeared to irritate the Robin which stuffed the food it had down the fledgelings throat and then flew off.

| | | Re: Feeding behaviour Thank you Bobbarber! Wildlife behaviour is so swift and fleeting its really difficult to process what we've seen! So good to have ones observations confirmed. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
