Saw a report about two Chilean Flamingos at cley reserve, Norfolk on Saturday, so decided to go early this morning to see of they were still there.
They were still both present so posted some photos for you all to see.   
It does look a bit strange having something so exotic looking on the cold windswept Norfolk Coast!

Stunning birds David .... but something tells me that these have not flown in from Chile!
Has anyone established their origin yet?

They appear to be unringed and apparently there is a breeding population in the Dutch - Germany border region.
these are probably the same two birds that were at Minsmere in Suffolk earlier in the week.

I had heard that they were probably the birds seen earlier in Suffolk but I was not aware that there is a breeding population over in Holland/Germany (a bit closer than Chile then!).
