| | | egg identification (i know egg collections are illegal) i find alot of hatched eggs where live and i take them home and repaire them and frame them because they are beautiful to look at- its taken me ages to find these 3 which arent totally smashed to bits and beyond repair-
what are they?
if you think im an egg collector please look closely at the first egg- you can see iv stuck it back togerther as it was in 3 bits when i found it
i know one is an oyster catcher egg because i watched them from day 1 (idiot dad oyster catcher spent all day pecking his reflection- hilarious)
but the other two im at a loss on. http://i49.tinypic.com/33opq1w.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/15p27q0.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/apmqg.jpg
(breif discription of where i live/found the eggs
i live on the out skirts of city and its quiet, i have lots of diff habitats -marshland, rough grass land, coast and estury, ancient woodland within 500 meters of each other and farms within a mile.
this year i had baby lapwings and oyster catchers with in meters of me) |

You can't have any egg material at all. It's a bit like saying "but it's only a bit of ivory, not a full elephant tusk". Flippant, I know, but that's the way the law sees it, and a bit of an egg is still an egg. I think the fine is something like £5000 per item. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
