N.Wales Redstart and Dippers

Hi
Will be spending next week in North Wales Ruthin/Llangollen area. Any advice appreciated on Dipper and Redstart hotspots.

Hi Barry.
I'm over in the Betws y Coed area and on our small river Dippers are very active at the moment, so hopefully that bode's well for you. But no signs of Redstarts at all, not so good. Anyway, lovely part of the world with plenty else to see.

Thanks Dorts can't argue tis a grate part of the world.Have previously spent quite a bit of time in the Berwyn Mountain/Tanant Valley area.

Unless it has changed a lot, Aber Valley, a mile or so in from the N Wales coast and close to Penmaenmawr, used to be good for both (and lots more!) Nature Reserve with footpaths.
