| | | Robin at work I work in a well known large store. Today a Robin managed to fly in through the front doors and flew up into the very high ceilings. Eventually several hours later when it got a bit tired flying around the Bedding department it sat down on some low shelves. the Till girls managed to use net curtains to herd it back out of the front doors. Thats one customer we don't think we will see again. Does anyone have any tales of birds getting into unusual places? |

| | | Re: Robin at work I once saw a pigeon in a clothes shop window in London, it looked quite happy. They often get into tube trains, travel a few stops, then get out. |

| | | Re: Robin at work Once witnessed a Grey wagtail going betwen Greggs and another pastry shop next door to it. I watched the staff in the other pastry store try and get it out but i then went in to Greggs a few minutes later the bird came into Greggs, it walked sraight past the que and round to the back of the counter where it was eating crumbs.... eventually somebody informed the the staff they had a little customer and the bird was shooed gently out the store.
Anyway after i left Greggs i was stood just outside (eating) and i saw the wagtail walk back into the other pastry store |

| | | Re: Robin at work I've only seen the video, but there was/is a seagull in Aberdeen who went into a newsagents almost everyday and stole a packet of doritos.
I believe he was christened 'Sam the shoplifting Seagull' |
