Mallard ID
I am pretty sure this is a Mallard hybrid, but I am trying to find out if anyone can identify which species it may be crossed with?

Not a hybrid, but a Mallard that's showing genes from a domestic breed. Apart form Muscovy all domestic ducks are derived from Mallard + many of these birds, sometimes called "manky" Mallard are found in town parks,etc.

Hi Aeshna. So does that mean there are feral mallards in this specimens ancestry? Thanks for the ID by the way

Quite possibly, though wild duck often enter collections of domestic birds + mate.
