| | | Baby birds all over This morning had the pleasure of watching baby Blue Tits and baby Great Tits being fed by their parents, and baby Great Spotted Woodpecker feeding him (her) self - all on the bird feeder just four feet from the window. Excellent day!

| | | Re: Baby birds all over hi
What a great start to the day. Its so good to hear success stories when so many tragically end in diaster (normallydown to cats). I opened my bedroom window and ther was mum blue tit and her 2 babies sitting on the washing line. She went off to the feeders and fed them. They soon were amongst the trees making a right fuss about nothing (like they do). Its the blackbirds i feel for. My resident pair have had two unsuccessful nests. Killed a few days before fledging. Very sad so thank you for sharing your good news. Debbie |

| | | Re: Baby birds all over It's a lovely time of year isn't it? I spotted a baby chaffinch being fed by it's dad yesterday, didn't realise they do a wiggly waggle dance to beg for food rather than wing flapping (like sparrows), it was so sweet .
