| | | Barn Owl over oilseed rape field This is an image I'd been planning for some time and for which I built a small tower hide to enable me to watch/photograph the Owls flying above the rape crop as they left and returned to their nestbox on their evening hunting forays.

Particularly like the 3 layered look to the picture.

| | | Re: Barn Owl over oilseed rape field Thanks for all the kind words folks - much appreciated
With the current trend in wildlife photography for images showing 'small in the frame' and with more of the creatures' environment I've been trying some different approaches to my photography recently so glad to hear so many of you liked this one

| | | Re: Barn Owl over oilseed rape field Wonderful shot Jeff. Been planning on Barn Owl shots for a while now and I know now id the time as they are out earlier hunting for the chicks. Just a shame the weather near me has been awful, so bad that I know my camera would be ruined.
Am intrigued regarding your hide, any info on what you used? | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
