| | | Oystercatcher Saw this oystercatcher sitting the other day, usually you cant anywhere near them, she didnt seem to mind me, but I did have a 400mm lense on so I didnt have to get too close..I did upload it to WAB, even if it says external image, must have done something wrong..SORTED

What camera equipment did you take it with? | Thanks for the comments, my camera is a Nikon D300, and the lense is a Nikon 300mm AFS, that picture could have had a 1.4TC on too, I will have to check

| | | Re: Oystercatcher Excellent picture, I've seen an Oystercatcher a few times over the last week. I'm not sure what it's doing a couple of miles from Scunthorpe (miles from the coast) but it seems happy enough. 'It' might in fact be a pair but I'm only seeing one at a time. |

That's about 27 miles from the nearest coast.
