Bald bird
This was in my garden yesterday evening. Apologies for the poor photos.





It was the size of an adult blackbird and distinctly bald. can anyone tell me what it is?

We've got a bald female adult blackbird in our garden - she looks a right sorry state.

I just went down to the garden with the camera to see if I could see her - and there was a male one! - maybe I made a mistake, blush.

I managed to get a very poor picture (excuses: the light was bad, it was with a 500mm hand-held through a glass door) - more of a mohican than bald!
