| | | Unknown Raptor My Cousin has contacted me asking if I can cast any light on a bird of prey spotted in her garden in Crewe.
Few details of course, but described as about 12 inches head to tail, Grey back, Red Breast with a very distinct raptors beak.
Any ideas anyone - got me scratching my head ! |

| | | Re: Unknown Raptor You're welcome Bruce.
Female Sparrowhawks are browner and larger than the smaller, greyer adult males. The Adult males also show the orangey-red flush on the breast.
Cheers Jason. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
