Bird ID
Saw a couple of these today, never got a close look other than this blurry pic. Any idea what it is? Was over heathland if that makes a difference

Fairly sure that's a Linnet - looks like a male.

I'd agree with Linnet based on colouration and beak shape/size, not sure which sex though

thanks, was guessing some type of finch. Think i might go back tomoz and try and get some better shots. Think i saw a dartford warbler fly past while i was there so shoud keep me busy for a lil while
