| | | Nest Box usurpation I am making my first foray on to the Bird forum so please forgive me if I am going over old ground.
I am an entomologist and I am the Chairman of the UK Bees Wasps & Ants Recording Society ( BWARS Home Page). I am involved in monitoring the spread of the bumblebee Bombus hypnorum, which is well known for nesting in bird nest boxes designed primarily for Tits.
If any reader HAS a bee colony in a nest box, or knows of one, could they kindly pm me the details (Where, When and Who) so the data can be added to the National database?
There is an information sheet on B. hypnorum on the BWARS ebsite
Many thanks
