| | | fighting pigeons For 5 hours today 2 pigeons have been chasing each other around the garden flapping thier wings and making a dreadful racket. Then they will sit on the fence one will edge nearer the other and it all starts up again. Does anyone have any idea what is going on. |

| | | Re: fighting pigeons Yes its silly season (mating and fighting over territory - if you've got feeders its a good food source that should be guarded from other pigeons).Just wait for them to chase each other round the garden and hum the Benny Hill theme song to yourself

| | | Re: fighting pigeons I agree with Shenk, pigoens seem to do this all year round basically they are quite randy birds if you will pardon the expression and will produce chicks when all other birds turn their thoughts to surviving the winter months, probably why there are so many pigeons about i suppose.
