Baby Woodpigeon

We had a younf wood pigeon wandering about earlier then he flew onto the fence between ours and next doors shed and has sat there for the last 2 hours.

I wont let our cats out as know they would do something but not sure what to do. Should I try and get it to move or will it just sit there all night ? I would have to make a noise or something as can't get close to where it is sat on the fence.

Any advice ?

I had a stray white dove come for some food, it was going to roost on a fence, so I went over and it flew onto the house, the cat would have got it if I had let it stay there, so if its unsafe I would see if it will move, if it lets you pick it up, I would leave it in a box with food and water for the night.
