| | | Isle Skye Boat Trip WT Eagles? I remember reading in here a while ago, there were boat trips from Isle of Skye (Portree) I think, which had a very good chance of seeing White Tailed Eagles. Can someone freshen my memory please-we may be going to Skye early in June.
Thanks |

| | | Re: Isle Skye Boat Trip WT Eagles? There are a couple of boat trips from Portree, several times daily weather permitting. "Brigadoon" is in my view the best one (we did that last June) but there is also "Stardust" which we did the year before. I would say you are virtually guaranteed to see a Sea-Eagle as the boatmen know the nest site and can point out one of the pair which regularly perches on neaby rocks or trees. If you are very lucky one may come down to take a fish from the water but this happens very fast so don't miss it!
Binoculars are provided for loan if you don't have your own but without you won't see the birds very well as they are a bit too distant up on or above the cliffs to see clearly with the naked eye.
Leaflets from the dispensers on the pier at Portree or in all the Tourist Information places, Aros Centre etc.
Have a great time and give my love to Skye!
