I only just started getting into birds, I'm a mammal person realy, but have had a chance to hand rear 2 blue tits, 1 thrush and 3 House Martins, one of witch is being wintered with us.
Anyway we came across the RSPB site in Dungoness while on holiday, was nice to see so many birds, in a place designed for them. Now back home I thought it be good to go find some other place's. so today we went to Radipole Lake in weymouth. nice place shame about the rain and wind. I got to see Lapwings, Cormerents lots and lots of Mallards, 6 Grey Herons some Shelducks (not seen any before) Moorhens 1 Barnacal and 1 Canadion goose.
I beleave we also saw a Muscovy it was like this
