edit: just had a though, how big were the eggs? Some warblers build dome nests, but usually near the ground. |

looks like a fairly standard nest. might be the angle of the photo. I wondered Blackbird. |

If it is lined with mud it could be a Blackbirds nest. What colour was the egg? |
