Slug Pellets

After much disruption in the garden due to building work immediately next door we have finally got our garden back.

Mrs Rog has planted some vegatables which the slugs are really enjoying ! We get huge pleasure from the birds and squirrels in the garden, and yes even the occasional rat and don't want to pose a risk to them. So, are slug pellets safe ?

I know that the real approach should be to let nature take its' course, but in that case I should only go to Tesco (or wherever) for my veg.

NOOOOO.....please dont use slug pellets..
Grate some carrot and sprinkle it round the base they will eat this and hopefully leave the plants alone..

No they are not safe..
