strange bird song
southampton garden, in a tree, wren shaped but twice as big, brown with darker line along wing, sharp pointed beak. Distinctive song, loud but soft pitched single 'choos'

thanks Adam. Different song, nowhere near as shrill as a dunnock, and it wasn't speckled in any way?
calls spaced at 4 - 5 seconds
