I saw a swallow today !

I am very excited to have seen my first Swallow of 2010 early this morning in Plymouth. It was all alone, flitting across the Plym Estuary in the warm morning sunlight.

Plenty of geese honking as they flew overhead too. It was almost as if Summer was here at last.

You were lucky to have warm morning sunlight- in London it's been very wet most of the day!

Always great to see you first Swallow of the year. Had my first on Good Friday, but hen a gap until the next. I had quite a few passing over yesterday.

I presume your geese were Canadas- are they seasonal near you?
