Not too sure about this Goose!  I spotted it on the bank by the Ladybower Reservoir yesterday.
Bit far away, so a heavily cropped image.....

I did look at Greylag in my RSPB book but the picture in that showed it with quite a dark grey brown head, which is why I was a little unsure.

| | | Re: Goose ID required please:-) The general shape is that of a Farmyard Goose of which the majority are of Graylag ancestry but some features of this bird, especially the broad brown stripe on the nape of the neck, suggest mere than a smattering of Swan Goose genes.
