Hi, sifting through some old photos tonight, I came across some photos that my partners' mother took about three years of the garden bird table.

I've identified one as an Orange Weaver Bird (!), a very exotic visitor to a garden, and the other as possibly a Yellowhammer, what do you think?

the reddish brown back and otherwise yellow/brown colouration would suggest yellowhammer yes!!!

Where were these photos taken? The browner bird looks like a female weaver species to me- not a Yellowhammer.

These photos were taken in a garden in Shropshire during the winter of 2006 / 2007
