Hi am just watching The One Show & a report about a swan being overly aggressive, attacking anything & everything even tho they are quite a ways from its nest. Have just seen it trying to take on a cabin cruiser!
If it keeps this up it'll do itself an injury.

just seen it also cowgirl, wow he is so protective, did you see the alarm on the cowering cox's face, thank god they reckon that it is fairly rare, i would be scared to take little uns to the park. |

Swans are all bluff!
I've stood my ground on a path with an aggressive cob. It hissed and puffed itself up and when I held my finger out it had a good chew on it. Their beaks are weak - they eat soft vegetation and don't need to have strong muscles - with very small teeth that just feel rough.

Mr Bright, I'm not so sure it is rare mate. Have a butchers at my thread started within ten mins of this one! It's a bit spooky

Jim | Ah good on yer! Must admit, never had experience of a swan so wasn't sure At least now I know, but if I get strangled (by their necks), or my arm broken  I'm coming for you ....Just hang on a minute while I sharpen me dentures!!
