I've just returned from Chew Valley Lakes in Bristol after a delightfull afternoons shooting stills. I noticed two birds 'divebombing' anything that was swimming in the lake. Mallards, Moorhens, Coots and even Swans were being constantly attacked. This didn't look like the usual territorial thing, but really aggressive, direct contact attacks by two young gulls. I really thought at first glance that it was two Osprey , such was the speed of their crashes into the water. Has anyone witnessed this kind of behaviour from young Gulls before, or does anyone have any thoughts as to what was going on? - Wizzo
