Feather ID please
I found this clump of feathers (cat or fox kill I guess)today in the churchyard at Kew Green and wondered what they might be.

Mostly orange/yellowish in colour, but you can see a bluish one in the foreground of the picture.

My best guess was Golden Pheasant - they certainly keep some nearby in Kew Gardens.

I'd be inclined to agree with Golden Pheasant. As you rightly say there are quite a few in the botanic gardens, including some flavistic/xanthistic birds + the odd hybrid with Lady Amherst's.

I usually see Golden Pheasant when I visit Kew Gardens, but didn't see any today (other than these feathers!)
