Bluetit Webcam

I've just set up a webcam in our bluetit box, which has residents and I have been monitoring their movements for quite a few weeks now. But I don't know much about their habits, so two questions:-

I have clear images but they both look the same, is there any way I can tell between the sexes, I think its going to come down to behavior, i.e. she always sits on the nest!

The other thing is they roost and are in and out all day but no sign of eggs, anyone know when they might start laying? (Bearing in mind this spring is late this year)

I'm putting the films onto You Tube under Nicholson's Bluetits but I hope these episodes are going somewhere!

Blue tit males and females are very similar, but males can have a wider blue collar on the back of the neck.
