| | | Blue Tits Moved In My Blue Tit box fell down a few years ago and I was unable to put it back in it's original place. I moved it half way down the garden where it's been un-noticed for the past 4 years.
At the weekend the Bird box was receiving attention from 2 different pairs of Blue Tits, at one point I thought they were all going to move in, I couldn't keep up with the comings and goings.
I can't tell the Male from the Female, but one bird always flys North from the nest, the other to the South.
I have managed to get quite close to the box without them really noticing me, It's all exciting stuff.
Nesting in my garden and feeding from my neighbours, how cool. |

| | | Re: Blue Tits Moved In Managed to have a peep of the box today whilst the pair were away, seems like they've been pretty busy, discarding the old nest material with the new. |

| | | Re: Blue Tits Moved In Haven't seen much activity around the Blue Tit box for a few days, so I was well happy when I saw this. Not a good photo I know, but it's proof enough that their here for the duration.
I spent a few days watching these Blue Tits move in, found it facinating how they get the old nesting matter out of the box, instead of trying to explain, I'll find the video that I took that will explain it superbly, I was amazed.

| | | Re: Blue Tits Moved In The Chicks hatched last weekend, the parents gave the game away when they became extra busy. I can hear the chicks when I pass the nest, can't wait to see them leave the box for the first time, little fluffy balls of yellow fluff. |

| | | Re: Blue Tits Moved In Mine have hatched too. had a little peek inside when i thought both parents were away but one was sat in the box looking up as if to say what the hell do you want? managed to see 5 chicks though and they are just getting their feathers coming through so wont be long before theyre out and about with the others that are already making lots of noise in the trees around work. |

So you have disturbed a nest. Not really deserving of a Smiley, is it.
