Bluetits

We have a nestbox which has been occupied by a bluetit . She has laid 3 eggs so far but does not seem to sit on them in the day time. She returns at night with a few visits during the day. Is this normal?. We are worried as there is noisy buildinmg work which has just started next door and we would have expected her to sit on the eggs full time.
Any replies appreciated.

That's perfectly normal, she won't begin to sit full time until she has a full clutch which can be up to 10 eggs sometimes more! this is so each egg hatches at more or less the same time.
