would it be unusual, or even VERY unusual, to see a great grey shrike on anglesy? we're convinced we saw one, on two seperate days, on the cliff top moorland between holyhead and treadeaur bay earlier this week.
also saw about a dozen choughs, always in pairs, very distinctive call.
however, we failed to see any puffins at south stack. the warden at ellins tower told us there are only eight there at the moment due to the extremely cold winter putting everything back by a few weeks and that there should be more arriving over the next few weeks.
