I took my old Lab out for his walk this evening and as per usual he wandered off to a small pond, the banks of which which are home to plenty of Rabbits.
As I made my way over towards him I could see a Harrier flying low across the field heading for the pond. It saw the dog and landed just a short distance out in the field.
It stayed long enough for me to get a few snaps before it decided the dog was to close and flew off.
I was surprised to see It was a Hen Harrier, they are usually gone by this time of the year.
