| | | pigeon sized bird with yellow back????? Hi can anyone please help i live in lincolnshire and i have seen a bird about the size of a pigeon or partridge take off from long grass with a yellow back and brownish wings, it dosent make a noise like a partridge or pheasant. I have looked through loads of pics on web and cant find anything. Thanks for any ideas. |

I have include the above link as you can listen to the sound they make which is quite distinctive (although a Starling that visits our garden does a good impression).
