What is this bird please

This was quite a big bird, but high up a tree so not too sure. Sorry that the photos are not great either, but can you tell me what it is?

And is this one a chiffchaff?

The first one looks to me like a chaffinch 99.9% sure and the second one looks spot on to me

Yes, a male Chaffinch for the first. Did you hear the second bird call or sing? Anyway, it looks like a Chiffchaff to me - but I'll let the more experienced ones confirm!

Are you sure? I know it was very high up a tree and I was zoomed in through the camera but even so I did see it before I used the camera and I thought it looked bigger, almost blackbird size. Is there anything it could be that is larger than a chaffinch? I know the photos aren't too good to go on either
