| | sandwell valley country park first swallow seen today at sandwell park farm! single bird so must have just recently arrived . saw several other birds and the heronry at priory pools is active with several birds on view and a noisy chattering in the trees . usually over 20 nests are occupied and we saw some already in use . coot nesting. sparrowhawk seen as well as chiffchaff and nuthatch. brilliant time . |

I saw my first Swallows of this year at Upton Warren today, beautiful.
