| | sandwell valley rspb my friend and i went to see the fire damage at rspb sandwell and it was very sad to see the roof burned and everywhere boarded up with fencing around it . why idiots want to commit arson is beyond me but i wish i could get hold of these mindless twits!
despite the sad state of the centre we did have a great morning1s birding and among the usual birds on the reserve we did see our first chiff chaffs ! 2 oystercatchers on the island .,4 buzzards circling round and a cormorant sailed over the centre and landed gracefully on the lake . theres plenty to see despite whats happened . also first blackthorn out in flower along with pussy willow . wood pigeons are nestbuilding by the railway and a canada goose is sitting on a nest on the island . |

| | | Re: sandwell valley rspb hi , it was rather depressing to see the damage but the good news is that a friend has been in touch with the rspb`s midlands office in banbury and was told that the centre will be repaired. dont know when work will start though but i hope cctv cameras will be installed too so that muppets like these will be caught and dealt with. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
